Join us for an amazingly magical and musical time exploring how sound heals our bodies and souls. We are going to create a sound vortex together in our community medicine wheel that has never been done before! You will be amazed at the beauty your own voice adds! No prior musical experience or talent required! This is how we play, like children, in the joy of just showing up and experiencing something bold and new.
Date: Saturday, July 2 Time: 1pm to 10pm Location:Fallbrook – Wild Woman Healing Retreat House
When you arrive, you are greeted into the tribe and adorned with sacred oils and perhaps a feather or two. We have an amazing and fun crafts project that we are starting right away so it is complete in time for our special sound healing ceremonies. We are each going to be making our individual “earth blankets” that we tie-dye using the traditional dark blue indigo dye imported from India, using traditional folding and knotting patterns …. Or you can free-style it!
Your earth blanket is yours to take home and use however you like: wrap it around you as a prayer shawl, tie it around your hips at the beach, or use it anytime you want to create a sacred space for yourself.
It will be rinsed and dried and ready for use at dusk, when the magic happens. In our community medicine wheel, we will be lying on our earth blankets and bringing our instruments, drums and rattles into the circle, and allowing our bodies to ground down into the earth.
Our ceremony during this event is to learn a new kind of “earth singing” to our Mother, our dearest earth, our Pachamama, our Gaia, and give her our heart’s love and our intention for her healing, and to sing her our songs of love as her children. It is said that Earth is a conscious being, a female Spirit of a very high and powerful magnitude, who is aware of each one us, and who gives special blessings, favor and protection to those who honor her with prayer and ceremony.
Those who have created this intimate relationship with Earth have even felt her heartbeat and rhythm in their own bodies as they lay upon her, having conversations with her, feeling her immense love pouring into their own hearts, and her great sacrifice as the living platform of our evolution.
You will be learning how to tone from the deepest core of your being. If you are a natural singer, you can open up and sing your heart songs. If you can’t hold a note, you will learn how to find your own natural sound from your unique essence, and how to have fun with it, singing in your own style. Each bird in the forest adds to the symphony of nature. You will be amazed to find that the birds in the trees take a high interest in these humans who create sounds that harmonize with nature, and often join in. The energy and music we create together is beyond amazing!
Because it is such a special day, it deserves a feast, don’t you agree? You will not be disappointed! We will honor the earth by eating as all of nature eats, pure organic food in its natural state: unheated, fresh, and with a gourmet twist! Your host and founder of Wild Woman Healing is a raw vegan chef, who knows how to make the yummiest, most scrumptilicious concoctions ever! You will be feasting all day on fresh organic juices, snacks like Bavarian Chocolate Cherry Brownies (all raw vegan and sugar and gluten free of course), and the house specialty: Rawktails … the new-and-improved version of cocktails (without the alcohol) that get you high on life-force.
Are we going to have fun? Absol-freakin’-lutely. Are we going to play a few silly and hysterically funny games? Come and find out. Are we going to have some deep and revelatory discussions on how to get our wild on as women, and how to step into stronger ownership of our power? You betcha. The combined Elder Wisdom that flows through all of us as we gather as a loving tribe is beyond magical. We inspire and support and elevate each other.
Are we going to paint our faces and dance around the fire and drum and sing and experience ourselves in our natural state, as the Creator dreamed us? It has been known to happen – come see.
The reason that we all NEED Wild Woman Healing retreats is that our day-to-day urban lifestyles can drain our very lifeforce. Our diets can be less than optimum, and the stress of managing our relationships, our finances and our responsibilities can be exhausting. We need a cosmic summer camp day just for women where we can let our hair down, go makeup free, relax, be ourselves, and let our spirit shine amongst those who all agree we are perfect, beautiful, complete … just as we are. And don’t forget about the fun crafts. We need to play and create
things with our hands that are meaningful, and imbued with our intention. That is a huge part of the fun of the magical camp that is a WWHR.
What happens at Wild Woman Healing retreats is that we create SUCH a good time that we don’t want it to end! The group love is too big, too strong, and we want to bask in the glow awhile. Therefore, plan on bringing pillow, sleeping bag and your favorite comforter for a bit of padding, and hanging out with your soul siStars in a cosmic pajama party. A mug of raw chocolate cocoa and herbal tea with your besties is hard to beat! Especially while under the stars, sitting around the campfire, sharing stories of truth and love and humor. The theme is sound healing … so we will be using our voices to speak in words that heal, in tones that soothe, and of course, laughter is the best medicine.
The cost of this event is $111 with an early bird discount of $22 by paying in full by June 25, reducing the cost to $89. Please share this with your own best friend so you can rewild together and create even more fun and magic.

The purpose of Wild Woman Healing retreats is to loosen you up. Shake you down to earth,– so you can access your genius and power and share it with your loving tribe. Together, we feel whole.
Our next Wild Woman retreat is coming soon – it will be epic and life-changing. Save the date: Saturday, April 2. You deserve this! Please join us. It is going to be juicilicious: a day of self-pampering, relaxing, playing and having a blast. We are going to have a ridiculously fun time making beaded feather headpieces. This retreat is super-packed with transformational ideas and activities so you leave feeling shifted, with new healing tools in your tool-belt. And we open up a topic that is the elephant in the room. Addictions. We all have them. Some steal from us and some feed us. Some flatten us and some lift us up.
Many of us struggle with addictions. Watch this short video that gives the secret of permanent freedom … and (big hint) how you can jump right in to the solution with your sister wild women.
This is an amazing discovery, wouldn’t you agree? Who would have guessed the answer was not chemical, but emotional? The need for connection with people with whom you feel “home” — the loving tribe. We are a no-judgment zone.
Being with your loving tribe gives you a biochemical gift. It is known that women release a hormone–oxytocin–when they are together in activities that give them pleasure. Oxytocin creates the craving for closeness — your physical contact with friends and family — and then builds more of itself when you are with them. Your heart has receptors for this hormone, and oxytocin helps heart cells regenerate and heal from any stress-induced damage. This hormone strengthens your heart. So being together with your loving tribe heals the heart, emotionally and physically.
And isn’t all addiction the result of a broken heart?
Let’s dive into this and play with the whole idea of our addictions with love and laughter, lifting ourselves up together by celebrating our juiciness with a day of juice feasting.
becoming liquid
Juice feasting is for both beginners and advanced juicers, the perfect way of going liquid, for because of quantity of juice you drink, you are not hungry. You just have to, ahem, use the loo a bit more than normal.
We will be making fresh organic juice together using the commercial juicer we call R2V2 (V for veggie, of course), which makes a quart of juice in 20 seconds. Along with tasty juice recipes, learning how to blend and combine for optimum deliciousness, you will be learning some great tricks and techniques of how to give yourself juicy days on your own, for days or weeks when you know you are craving a reboot. You’ll have the tools in your wildish tool-belt. You’ll be drinking up to 4 quarts of fresh, delicious, organic fruit and veggie juice that is oh-my-goddess delicious. Your body is thanking you already! So yeah, it is a spa day, Wild Woman style.
Quite different from fasting, juice feasting is about lots and lots of fresh delicious plant juices … as if you are standing under green waterfall, but on the inside.
As we allow ourselves to also go liquid within, we are able to viewour heartbreaks and addictions as our teachers, showing what is left still broken within us.
And could it be that even this idea of brokenness is a bit of illusion? Deep within our heart-of-hearts lies the knowingness that we are actually absolutely perfect, and just playing a bit of a game of hide-and-seek with the Universe,–temporarily forgetting our innate Divinity and perfection while in this physical body, only to remember again. That’s the game.
Imaginal Energy
We are told lasting change requires years of therapy and a long, hard path of suffering and struggle. Who has time for that?
We will use an amazing technique to step into a new-and-juicier version of ourselves, accomplished in no more than three days. This is using imaginal energy on the quantum level. Imagine the ripple effects this has in your life, as you learn you can change this quickly!
a day for you
Coming to a Wild Woman Healing Retreat is like sneaking away for a day to the dream summer camp we all wish we could attend and just play. Instant friends with the camper sitting next to you kind of thing. Time to absolutely relax, focusing on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing through the process of just letting yourself realign with nature, natural law and your innate wildness. Being outdoors, making beautiful and sacred things created with your own hands that supports your wild spirit. Playing with natural beauty masks that are edible. Drumming. Dancing. Campfires. Sharing your essence, and being loved. This just happens. This is the magic. You feel loved as you show up as your authentic self.
If you’re a mom, in a relationship, multi-tasking as the typical woman, juggling a thousand things, you know that you must take a mental health day regularly just to keep you on your game. As you make this sacred time for yourself each month to get together with like-minded open-hearted wild-natured spiritual women–your loving tribe–something clicks within, something shifts. You can ride the wave of energy we co-create until we meet again. We now live in each other’s hearts. We feel the empowerment of our consensual knowingness that we each are beautiful, strong, lovable creators.
We fuel our passions to be more of ourselves, so we can share ourselves with our beloveds, our families, our communities.
Wild Woman Healing Retreats are our time to recharge, to completely let our hair down, to share the deep truths together that instantly heal us upon their utterance. To feel the essence of pure joy and simplicity that we had as little children.
Campfires. Singing. Making music. Storytelling. Getting our dance on. Enjoying the holy freak out of each moment with each other. Lounging and laughing and getting real, all while feeling safe inside the sacred hoop of women gathered to celebrate our true nature as wildishly amazing.
The day is only loosely structured; we decide together what we want to do from a menu of choices. It is a free flow of fun that we create together.
If you are inspired by these ideas, please join our growing tribe of wild women. By our gathering, we support each other to live in optimum, radiant health.
Take time for yourself Saturday – April 2 – in Fallbrook – Release an old addiction and gain some juicy new ones that feel good.
Quoting honorary wild woman Janis Joplin — who stated that what separated her from the rest of the female singers is that she sang “underneath the music” while others sang “on top” of it — she says it’s all about feeling good.
You know you’ve got it, if it makes you feel good! – Janis Joplin
She got into the vortex of her power, and she knew it.
What Janis did not know is how to deal with the inner predator seeking to steal one’s power, as you will read about further down this page.

You will be warmly greeted with sage and hugs.
And offered your first quart of juice of the day in your own mason jar that you can take home with you. (Of course, you can start your juicy day at home, too … stay liquid, of course!)
Then we help each other apply our all-organic nourishing facial masks, using edible incredibly healing ingredients that our skin loves (so come with a clean face) … and be prepared to look younger — hey, it happens! This is when we ask ourselves: what are the masks we feel we still must wear in our culture, even with our own beloveds, that hide our true nature?
And then we may paint our faces a bit … just to know we have entered our fun zone.
We’ll make fresh juice together and learn the tricks of how to juice feast as long as we want to go … how to stack the benefits, what superfoods we can add to give us energy boosts, how to lose cravings, how to detoxify without feeling funky, and learn what our beautiful bodies need in way of our support so we can youthen instead of age.
You’ll learn how to grow wheatgrass and microgreens that provide all the organic minerals your body requires for cell rejuvenation, and how to grow many kinds of sprouts at home so you can give yourself the freshest possible life force in your diet. You will sample how this feels in your body, how it cleans the blood and optimizes energy and creativity.
spark your creativity
And … (drumroll) … we are going to make the funnest thing imaginable … your own feathered and beaded headpiece that you will customize with your own artistry. Get your birdtribe connection, and feel the energy that our winged nation brings, learn the medicine wisdom of the different species, and learn how to read their messages.
We make our crafts outside in the space set aside just for this … it will be an amazingly fun thing that we can wear through the day and dance with and take home as our own. This is when we make the spirit friendships just enjoying ourselves to the maximum achievable level.
If you have any special feathers that you have collected, you can bring them and add them to your headpiece. It’s yours to take home.
No prior skill required! This is easy for all.
At Wild Woman Healing Retreats there is plenty of time for lounging, for time in the sacred medicine wheel where we can create a powerful vortex of intention for the coming month, and time drumming, singing, dancing and enjoying the fire that feeds our wild selves, remember our ancient wisdom handed down from our elders, and continuously whispered to us from nature.
THE STORY OF WILD WOMAN AND ADDICTION
When you come, please have done a bit of homework to deepen your experience by reading Chapter 2 —
CHAPTER 2. Stalking the Intruder: The Beginning Initiation
— in the classic book that has rekindled our understanding of our true nature as women, Women Who Run With the Wolves … here is a link to a free PDF if you do not have a copy.
A few of us may have married a monster like the story of Bluebeard … some of us have been naive to outer predators, and perhaps some of us are like this woman described in the chapter:
a woman involved in a chemical addiction [who] most definitely has at the back of her mind a set of older sisters who are saying, “No! No way! This is bad for the mind and bad for the body. We refuse to continue.” But the desire to find Paradise draws the woman into the marriage to Bluebeard, the drug dealer of psychic highs. (p.39)

Trap #8; Dancing Out of Control, Obsession and Addiction
Substance abuse is a very real trap. Drugs and alcohol are very much like an abusive lover who treats you well at first and then beats you up, apologizes, gives you nice treatment for a while, and then beats you up again. The trap is in trying to hang in there for the good while trying to overlook the bad. Wrong. This can never work.
Joplin began carrying out the wildish wishes of others as well. She began to carry a kind of archetypal presence that others were afraid to carry for themselves. They cheered on her rebelliousness as though she could free them by becoming wild for them.
Janis made one more try at conformity before she began a long slide into possession. She joined the ranks of other powerful but hurt women who found themselves acting as flying shamans to the masses. They too became exhausted and fell from the sky.Frances Farmer, Billie Holiday, Anne Sexton, Sylvia Plath, Sara Teasdale, Judy Garland, Bessie Smith, Edith Piaf, and Frida Kahlo—sadly, the lives of some of our favorite role models of wild and artistic women ended prematurely and tragically.
The very addictions that pull energy from us and weaken us may be invisible to others. We know what they are–our dark secrets–our self-sabotaging acts. We can choose to let them go and exchange them for their opposite: loving acts. Loving ourselves free.
Pajama Party
Would you like to stay the night? No charge! Just pay an additional $10 (cash) for your morning juice, making your juice feast 24 hours long, and enjoy fresh organic juice upon arising. We have mats and couches and pads and mattresses … just bring your pillow and bedding. Stash it in the car just in case. Some stay for hours afterwards, loving the good conversations, basking in the deep relaxation and good feelings we share, stretched out under the stars in the goddess lounge until the wee hours. It is good to know you have the option of not having to drive home until morning. Bring $10 cash for a quart of morning juice just in case this is in the flow for you. And your jammies and toothbrush.

“This retreat was so incredible!! I haven’t felt so good in such a long time. Really loved every aspect of the day and well worth every penny. I can’t wait for the next one!” – H.L., Bonsall
“Kyra, I just want to thank you for being an amazing hostess, vegan chef, and teacher. The chocolate treats/food was outstanding! Your home is a beautiful healing sanctuary and the perfect location for these retreats. The price is right too as many other healing retreats charge quite a bit more for what they are offering. Kyra, thank you for sharing your beauty, your playfulness, and wild woman essence with our group. Thank you to my new sisterhood of wild women as well for being supportive and sharing your gifts with our group. You are all amazing. I feel the ancestors were pleased as I lay down to sleep after the retreat and saw their faces, rainbows of colors, and heard the drum beats playing as I reflected on the day. Much love and gratitude to you all. Thank you all! (((hugs))).” M.L., San Diego

Wild Woman Healing Secret #1 : Shortcut to healing = massive intake of truthtelling + large volumes of pure water.
The new coolness – to be truth junkies.
Phase 1 is to wake up to the external world — seeing through all the lies separating humanity away from living in harmony with earth.
Phase 2 is looking within and stepping out of the overlay of lies projected upon us from the external reality — and choosing to no longer wear it as the garment of our identity. Being willing to let it all go. And see who is under all of that.
Into the fire. No longer needed. The authentic wild woman shows up, the true nature of woman.
What is underneath all of the images and ideas projected upon us, and thoughts that may never have been our own? Our perfection. Our innate wildness. In the image of the Creator.
Drinking large volumes of pure water puts out the internal heat generated from all of this truthtelling and story-editing.
Water gently floats us upon a wave that tenderly carries us back to peace. Pure water is kindness.
This is the recipe for healing. Water and truth. The water flushes out the old beliefs, the old stories. We then feel refreshed, bathing within the clean waters of our newness.
Every aspect feels better – the physical body, the emotions, the mind, the spirit. Light comes back into the eyes. The heart is soothed.
Do you move? Do you bounce? Is it our wildness that makes us naturally move this way? This is a message I am passing along because it is so juicy. Are you born to move? Be sure to watch the video to see the science experiments on playing different types of music for babies — and how they react to each one — so amazing:
“I have a friend who went to India last year and spent 9 days in an ashram with a guru, whose message was about moving to the beat. In her stay she was required to stand in the presence of dance music, with a rhythmic beat, and shake or move for 8 (!) hours daily. She said that her body released ‘tons’ of mucus, that she didn’t even know was there, during her 9 day stay. She also lost 12.5 pounds. She is in her 70s, and losing weight, or moving for 8 hours straight, is usually not done by people in this age bracket.”
I also have another wonderful friend who is 74 and dances every Friday night until after midnight. It is the highlight of her week. She just sent me a video and, frankly I was very surprised at the information it contains. Seems TPTB have been busy, banning dancing and drumming, in many countries around the globe. Could this repression of dance and drumming, which re-connects circuits all over the body, be one reason why people have trouble awakening? What better way to gum up the body than to ban natural movement.”
There is something that every human alive should think about at this juncture, which is that fear doesn’t move. Have you ever noticed that? When you’re afraid, it’s the absence of movement. And how can you stop something that is so good for us? Every time we dance there’s a cascade of serotonin — a cascade of joy and bliss. Shiva Rea
Here’s the video. The first half is a very interesting history lesson about this, the second half is music and dancing.
One of the biggest gifts of being in the circle of a loving tribe is we are relieved of the idea that we must became a multi-armed, multi-tasking goddess as the standard of measurement and self-mastery.
This was a myth because it was never our job.
Our gathering within the tribe itself is the multi-armed goddess, each one contributing. We each bring our talent, and what we love, and the circle finds its wholeness.
In the circle of a loving tribe, we are free to take off the false masks and let our hair down. We don’t have to pretend to be happy if we are not, or pretend to be strong when we are burdened and stumbling. We can be seen as beautiful, no matter where we are in life, because to be human is to be beautifully challenged and beautifully flawed, beautifully scarred and beautifully honest.
